About Eileen

Eileen Coyle is a soprano based in Co. Cavan. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, a HDip in Computer Music from NUI Maynooth, and a Masters in Music Technology from the University of Limerick. She began her choral education as a choral scholar with Dr Ite O'Donovan and the Lassus Scholars. She studied classical singing with Dr Imelda Drumm and graduated from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2019.

She was a Lay Vicar Choral at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin for 5 years. She sings with as many choirs as possible in Ireland and some of them past and present have included Anúna, Lassus Chamber Choir, Crux Vocal Ensemble,

Eileen has performed in shows in the Fringe Festival, New Music Dublin, Cambridge Early Music Week and Speaking of Music, RIAM, Dublin. She has sung as a soloist with the RTE Concert Orchestra, The RIAM Baroque Ensemble, The Orlando Chamber Orchestra, The Longford County Choir, West Wicklow Voices, Setanta Choir, Christ Church Baroque Ensemble and The Irish Memory Orchestra. She has toured America, England, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and the Netherlands and has performed as a soloist all over Ireland including appearances at the National Concert Hall, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, The National Gallery of Ireland, Cork Opera House, Kilkenny Theater Royal and regularly at Christ Church Cathedral.

Eileen spent 10 years training with renowned choir, The Lassus Scholars, directed by Dr. Ite O'Donovan. She performed with them as a choral Scholar in Westminster Cathedral, London (2011), the Sacre-Coeur Basilica, Paris (2014) and St. Peter's Basilica, Rome (2015). She has performed on numerous occasions as soprano soloist in concert with the Lassus Scholars and the Orlando Chamber Orchestra. She made her National Concert Hall debut on 23rd of September 2017 singing Mozart's Coronation Mass.

For the past 13 years Eileen has been singing with The Bugle Babes, a 1940's Close harmony group based in Dublin who specialise in the music of The Andrews Sisters. They were recently featured on RTE's Charols From The Castle which aired on RTE on CHristmas day. The Bugle Babes have performed all over Ireland from The National Concert Hall to the Cork Opera House, and on Radio and Television; including The Late Late Show, Ryan Tubridy, the Mooney Show and to "Knock 'em dead!" reviews at the American Embassy on Veterans Day! The Bugle Babes are a regular act upon the stage of The Kevin Barry room in the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

In addition to being a successful classical singer Eileen has released two original albums. Her solo album "The Only Way is On", written, recorded and performed by Eileen received national radio play and rave reviews from RTE Radio One. Her second album, "The stolen Child" was released in 2015 as part of a collaboration called "Webbs". It was featured in Hotpress magazine and was highly recommended by top music blogger Nialler 9 and many radio presenters in Ireland and abroad.
